AORN and MCN Healthcare to Create Unique New Member Service

AORN members to receive an added benefit with access to MCN's StayAlert® news service for notifications and explanations to regulatory and compliance changes

DENVER, CO – March 8, 2007 – The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) and MCN Healthcare (MCN)., a leading provider of regulatory compliance and learning solutions for the healthcare industry today announced they will work together to provide AORN members with access to MCN's StayAlert notification service and will be available beginning March 11, 2007, the opening day of the AORN annual Congress in Orlando, Florida.

AORN members will have complimentary access to relevant changes by Joint Commission and federal regulatory agencies. StayAlert is delivered via email and will provide AORN members with information about new requirements as well as provide an explanation as to the potential impact of these changes.
