Joint Commission Seeks Pilot Sites to test draft Comprehensive Stroke Performance Measures

The Joint Commission is seeking hospitals to volunteer to pilot test TJC's draft comprehensive stroke (CSTK) performance measures. According to TJC, the pilot test will be an assessment of the measures themselves and not individual organizations. Opting to participate in this pilot test will not have any impact on an organization's accreditation or certification status. The pilot test will be conducted for patients discharged October 1, 2012 through March 31, 2013.
